We are a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpase, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that binds us all together.

Josh's 1st Desert Race




Josh's first race was January 30, 2010. He did great! The race was in Mesquite, Nevada. Grandma and Grandpa Funk got to come too. Bonus! It started early in the morning and it was cold. Josh didn't seem to mind. He loves to ride! It was a 5 mile course and they race for 1 hour. Greg helped out on the track where it was real sandy. When Josh completed the race I asked him, "Did you see your dad out there?" and Josh answered, "Ya, he's at the spot where I crashed the most!" Josh completed the course 4 times and came in first place in his division. He was sore all over the next day but very happy!
